May 13th, 2017: Old Hampton Store Ramp Festival in Avery County NC. Ramps are elusive spring onions that pop up at elevations above 3000′. Come enjoy bluegrass, food, and drink inspired by these delicacies of Appalachia.

May 27, 2017: Open Ridge Farm Dinner Event (Yancey County)- South Toe area chefs will utilize the freshed ingredients from Open Ridge and other local farms to create a casual, family-friendly dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. Tickets and more information can be found here.
