knife & fork has been open since July 2009 and has built relationships with the farmers and growers of our community. We find the bounty of meats and produce grown in our area to be an ever changing and ever growing source of creative inspiration. We structure our daily changing menu around the seasons. In 2013 it rained… all summer. So there were very few tomatoes. But the trout? The trout were incredible that year, huge and sweeter than usual. So we adapted and found new ways to prepare trout. We believe that sourcing at the root, taking it slow and using as much of a product as we possibly can allows us to see the details and, through our menu, tell the story of our home each season, each year.
